Frequently asked questions.

What are the Emotion Code and Body Code?

The Emotion Code, created by Dr Bradley Nelson, is a gentle method for identifying and releasing trapped emotions, the energetic imprints of past experiences that may continue to affect how you feel and function.

The Body Code builds on the Emotion Code by taking a broader, whole-body approach. Alongside trapped emotions, it can identify other underlying imbalances relating to areas such as energy, structure, nutrition, toxins, pathogens and lifestyle.

Both approaches work with your body's own wisdom to identify what it is ready to address, supporting its natural ability to heal and restore balance.

Which healing session is right for me?

You don't need to know exactly which session to choose before you book.

If you're drawn to emotional healing or feel that past experiences may still be affecting you, the Emotion Code can be a beautiful place to begin. If you'd like to explore a broader range of possible underlying imbalances, the Body Code offers a more comprehensive whole-body approach. You may also feel specifically drawn to the Heart Wall Journey.

Trust what resonates. If you're unsure, simply tell me what you'd like support with and together we can listen to your body's own wisdom to help determine the most appropriate place to begin.

What happens during a session?

Each session begins with what you'd like to focus on, whether that's an emotional concern, physical discomfort, an area of your wellbeing, or a personal goal.

I begin by centring and setting an intention for your highest good. Using gentle muscle testing, we then listen to your body's own wisdom to identify what it is ready to address.

In an Emotion Code session, this involves identifying and releasing trapped emotions. Body Code sessions may also identify other underlying imbalances your body indicates are relevant.

The work unfolds gently and at your body's own pace, without the need to relive or discuss painful experiences.

Do I need to talk about or relive painful experiences?

No. One of the things I love about this work is that you don't need to retell or relive difficult experiences for healing to take place.

Muscle testing allows us to access information held beneath conscious awareness and identify what your body is ready to release. Sometimes a little context naturally arises, but you are always in control of what you choose to share.

What is the Heart Wall?

The Heart Wall is an energetic shield of trapped emotions that may form around the heart as protection during periods of emotional pain, grief, stress or overwhelm. While this protection may once have served a purpose, over time it can leave us feeling guarded or disconnected.

Through the Emotion Code, we gently identify and release these emotional layers at the pace your heart and body are ready for. This can support greater openness, connection, emotional freedom and a deeper capacity to give and receive love.

Because Heart Walls often release in layers, I offer a dedicated three-session Heart Wall Journey.

Do you offer in-person, online, or distance sessions?

Yes. Sessions are available in person, online and at a distance, depending on the service.

In-person sessions for people are available in West Sussex, at The Mill Yard, Petworth, or Cowdray Therapy Rooms, Midhurst, subject to availability.

Online sessions are held via Zoom or WhatsApp, allowing you to join from the comfort of home.

Distance sessions don't require a live call and can be a wonderfully flexible option. They are particularly gentle for pets and horses because animals can remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings.

Whichever format you choose, the healing process is guided by the same intention and your body's own wisdom.

Can Emotion Code and Body Code healing help animals?

Yes. Both Emotion Code and Body Code healing can be used with pets and horses.

Emotion Code sessions focus on trapped emotions that may be associated with stress, fear, past experiences, behavioural changes or physical comfort. Body Code sessions take a broader approach by also exploring other underlying imbalances that may be relevant to the animal's wellbeing.

Distance sessions can be particularly suitable for animals because they can remain relaxed in their own familiar environment throughout.

How many sessions will I need, and when might I notice changes?

Every person, animal and healing journey is unique. Some people notice changes quickly, while for others they unfold gradually over a number of sessions.

Healing can happen in layers. As one imbalance is addressed, another may become ready to work with. For this reason, I don't prescribe a fixed number of sessions or guarantee a particular outcome.

We'll listen to your body, observe how you feel between sessions, and allow that feedback to guide what comes next.

What can I expect after a session?

After an Emotion Code or Body Code session, your body enters a natural period of processing and integration.

Everyone responds differently. You may feel lighter, calmer or more energised, or you may temporarily feel tired, emotional, reflective or simply in need of some quiet time.

At the end of your session, we check with your subconscious how much processing time your body may need and set the intention for this integration to unfold with ease and grace.

Rest, hydration, nourishing food, gentle movement and doing something that brings you joy can all be lovely ways to support yourself afterwards.

Are Emotion Code and Body Code healing gentle and non-invasive?

Both approaches are gentle and non-invasive and work with what your body indicates it is ready to address.

I facilitate the process, but your body's own wisdom guides the session. There is no need to force a release or push beyond what your system is ready to work with.

Emotion Code and Body Code healing are complementary approaches and can be used alongside conventional medical, psychological or other therapeutic support. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
